Two weeks ago I road tripped to Sedona with Maddie and Vanessa for some hiking and sightseeing. Going to Arizona in the summer usually isn’t the wisest idea, but since Sedona is located in higher elevation, the weather was ideal. It was a wonderful time spent together enjoying nature and a break from our day to day schedules. I documented some of the trip through the photos below. Enjoy.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.
On our drive back to Sedona from our day trip to the Grand Canyon, we passed a flower field. It was more like an entire small town covered with wild flowers. In every open space you could see the beautiful blooms blanketing the town. Of course I freaked out and made my friends pull over immediately for photos.
I am not one to pass on a good wild flower field opportunity, that's for sure.
On another note, aren't my friends so pretty!!! I loved photographing them in the flowers. Enjoy the photos.
Renting a bike and making that trek over the Golden Gate bridge was a small, yet huge victory for me. I'm sure I looked goofy with the biggest smile slapped on my face, but the chance to live this life, in this beautiful world overwhelms me with joy.
Life following Jesus should be like that everyday, smiling like a nutty kid, overwhelmed by His presence and the love He has for you. I pray that you know your worth in Christ and what he did for you on the cross. He is interested in the most intricate details of your everyday life and each trial you are going through. No trial that you're going through is too large for Him to walk along side of you. Let Him be your peace as you wake up everyday and take on the world.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the photos!
This spring a solo weekend in San Francisco gave me a much needed escape from an intense semester. Ready to explore, I brought my camera, a lovely book and solid walking shoes. Rather than going into depth about my visit, my colorful weekend is captured through these beautiful architectural shots of the streets of San Francisco.
Veterans Day weekend 2016.
Finally I was able to experience the beauty and magnitude of Yosemite. My dad goes camping in the valley the same week every year and this was the first time I was able to join. Here are some photos I captured over the few days we were there. It was magical and I can't wait to be back.
